DU-Admissions 2022: Phase 1, 2 registration date extended; first list of allocated seats to be released on Oct 18

In the larger interest of the candidates who are still in the process of deciding their preferences, the University has extended the last date of Phase I and Phase II by two days. Phase I and Phase II of CSAS will now be open for candidates till 04:59 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

DU-Admissions 2022: The registration period for DU-admissions has been extended by two days, the Delhi University stated today. Applying for Delhi University is currently open till October 12 at the official DU website, admission.uod.ac.in.

In the larger interest of the candidates who are still in the process of deciding their preferences, the University has extended the last date of Phase I and Phase II by two days. Phase I and Phase II of CSAS will now be open for candidates till 04:59 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2022 ,” the official press release stated.

Additionally, students will have access to a rectification window for phases 1 and 2 through October 12 at 4:59 p.m. (Wednesday). Changes to a candidate’s name, picture, signature, gender, email address, mobile number, or category will not be permitted.

A simulated list will be prepared at 5 pm on October 14 after the deadlines for phases 1 and 2 have passed, allowing applicants to gauge their chances of being accepted into a college programme. The candidates will have two additional days to rearrange their choices after the “Simulated List” is announced.

At 5 p.m. on October 18, the first CSAS allocation list will be made public, and applicants will have until 5 p.m. on October 21 to accept their placement. Following that, document verification will be finished on October 22. Candidates will then have until October 24 at 5 p.m. to make any final payments.

On October 25, the second round of CSAS allocation and admission will start. From 5 p.m. on October 25 through 4:59 p.m. on October 27, you can rearrange your higher choices. Candidates will have until November 1 to accept their placement on the second CSAS allotment list, which will be made public on October 30. Colleges will finish payment by November 3 and verification on November 2.

Similar to the second round, the third round will begin on November 4 and end on November 15; on November 17, the first slot allocation round will be announced.“The University may announce more Spot Rounds subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any,” the press release stated.

The Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) scores will be used by the central university for the first time to admit students to undergraduate programmes.
