IIM Bangalore, India’s Leading Business School, has set a Placement Record by Securing 664 Job Offers for the PGP and PGPBA programs

Placement Record by Securing 664 Job Offers: As stated in the official press release, issued by the India’s leading B-School (NIRF Rank 2) Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has successfully obtained a total of 664 job offers from 177 companies, which includes lateral and final placements, for its 2024–26 cohort of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) and the Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGPBA); 596 students participated in this placement process.

According to the press release, 35 percent of the participating companies were new recruiters. Management Consulting dominated the placement landscape, contributing 45 percent of the total offers, while Technology and Product Management roles accounted for 15 percent, and Investment Banking roles for 11 percent.

IIM Bangalore Placement Positions Overview

Management consulting (Management consulting involves providing expert, objective advisory and implementation services to organisations) position has become the leading career pathway, representing for 45% of the total offers, followed by technology, product management (Product management is the strategic, organisational function of managing a product’s entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and maturity) and investment banking, contributing 15% and 11% of the total offers, respectively, the IIM Bangalore stated in a press release. Accenture Strategy’s record number of offers (94) was the highlight.
