WBJEE 2022 Result: The WBJEE 2022 round 1 seat allotment results will be made public by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) today. Students can use the website wbjeeb.nic.in to view the results.
Students whose names appear on the first list must submit their fees, have their documents verified, and be admitted between October 14 and October 17. The second allocation list will then be made public.
Steps to Check the WBJEE 2022 Result:
Step 1: Go to wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: Select “View Seat Allotment Result Round No. 1 and Pay Seat Acceptance Fee” from the webpage.
Step 3: Enter your password, security pin, and WBJEE roll number.
Step 4: Submit and review the outcome
Registration for WBJEE 2022 counselling based on JEE Main scores opened on September 30 and lasted till October 10.
On April 30 of this year, 277 centers—274 in West Bengal, 2 in Assam, and 1 in Tripura—held the WBJEE. A total of 1,14,013 students enrolled for the exam, and 81,393 (or 80.26%) of those students showed up.
Ninety-eight percent of students passed their papers in the WBJEE results that were released. The first two spots on the “Top-10” merit list were taken by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students, who topped the ranking.
About WBJEEB: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) was established in 1962 by Government of West Bengal in exercise of the powers conferred under article 162 of the Constitution of India in pursuant to No. 828-Edn(T), dated 02.03.1962.
Subsequently in 2014, the Government of West Bengal enacted the West Bengal Act XIV of 2014 to form The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board and empowered it to conduct Common Entrance Examinations for selection of candidates for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate Professional, Vocational and General Degree Courses in the State of West Bengal and to conduct on-line counselling process or otherwise adopting a single-window approach.
