UPTET 2021 exam cancelled due to question paper leak, 23 arrested.

The UPTET 2021 exam has been cancelled due to an alleged paper leak. The teachers’ eligibility test was scheduled to be held today, November 28, 2021. As per reports, the examination is expected to be conducted next month. The question paper was circulated on various Whatsapp groups at Mathura, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr.

Investigation begins on UPTET paper leak:

A special task force is investigating the matter of the UPTET 2021 paper leak. Till now, 23 people have been arrested in connection to the case by the UP special task force.

ADG law and order Prashant Kumar has said that people associated with the solver gang have been arrested by the UP STF.

 UPTET exam 2021:

More than 21 lakh candidates were going to appear in the exam that was scheduled to be held in more than 2500 centres in Uttar Pradesh.

The government cancelled the paper immediately after the news of the paper leak. It has further notified that candidates will not have to pay any fees again for the exam.

The Uttar Pradesh government will conduct the exam again within a month, Dr Satish Dwivedi, Basic Education Minister said. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will hold the exam after a month and the candidates will not have to pay any fees again.
