OP Jindal Global University today announced that it will offer over 2000 scholarships to deserving students for the 2024 academic year. The decision has been taken to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the university.
The University aims at providing equal opportunities to the young talents to access education. With this, more than 60 percent of new students taking admission from 2024 will get scholarship to study in the university.
After the admission process, the scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit-cum-means. Eligibility criteria include annual family income, last qualifying examination score, JSAT (Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test) or any other relevant standardized test result and faculty interview score (where applicable).
“During the last 14 years, Jindal Global University (JGU) has awarded scholarships worth over Rs 250 crore and almost half of the students studying at JGU have been recipients of these scholarships,” said Professor C Raj Kumar, Founding VC of the university.
