Instagram Reposting Feature: Instagram has introduced a new reposting feature that allows users to share public Reels and feed posts with their followers, while ensuring that original creators receive proper credit. This long-aiwated update is designed to enhance user interaction and facilitate the sharing of content across the platform.
You can now reshare public Reels and Feed posts directly to your followers’ main feeds, not just through Stories or DMs-these will appear just like your original posts, but with proper credit. Reposts get a separate “Reposts” tab on your profile, making it easier to track and revisit what you’ve shared.
How to use it:
+ Tap the Repost icon (which looks like a square with two arrows) below a public post or Reel.
+ Optionally, add your own thoughts or comments to the thought bubble.
+ Tap “Save” the post will then be shared to your feed and added to your Reposts tab.
Instagram’s Repost feature is a streamlined way to share public content within your feed, including attribution and improved discoverability.
