CAT 2023 Exam Update: Exam in 3 Slots on Sunday; Here are Last Minute Guidelines

Candidates have to report at the Common Admission Test (CAT) examination center as per the reporting time and session mentioned on their admit card.

CAT 2023 exam updates: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will conduct the CAT 2023 exam in three shifts on Sunday, November 26. Candidates have to report at the Common Admission Test (CAT) examination center as per the reporting time and session mentioned on their admit card.

The first shift of CAT 2023 exam will start from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The second shift of CAT 2023 exam will be conducted in the afternoon session between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. The last and third session will start at 4:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm.

Candidates must carry the original copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card and ID proof to the examination centre. These ID cards may include Aadhar Card, Passport, Driver’s License, Voter ID and PAN Card. CAT 2023 admit card contains a list of government ID cards that candidates can carry with them.

Candidates appearing for the examination should not wear cap, jacket or closed toed shoes. Candidates  can wear sweater, pullovers and cardigans without pockets. Apart from this, wearing of gold or other metal jewelry has also been banned.

Candidates under PwD (People with Disabilities) category are required to bring a medical certificate presenting proof of disability. They will also have to write an affidavit (on the form provided by IIMCAT) in the CAT 2023 examination hall.

Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, own stationery items, pens, wallets and spectacles.
