SSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Application Window Opens for 17,727 Vacancies, for Various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Posts

Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid any last minute problems. The deadline for fee payment is July 25th, 2024.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2024: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the application window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 17,727 vacancies for various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts across various ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India, as well as various constitutional bodies, statutory bodies and tribunals.

Eligible candidates can now apply for these posts through the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). From June 24th, 2024, the application process has been initiated and will persist until July 24th, 2024. Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid any last minute problems. The deadline for fee payment is July 25th, 2024.

Tier-I (computer-based examination) by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CGL Recruitment 2024 is scheduled for September-October 2024, with Tier-II examination to be held in the same year. Applicants will have the opportunity to make corrections in their application form during the correction window from August 10 to August 11, 2024.

SSC CGL 2024 Eligibility:

To submit Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CGL application form successfully, candidates must fulfill the required educational qualification and age limit criteria.

Educational Qualification: To be considered for this position, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field of study.

However, those who are applying for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer must have a Bachelor’s degree and Chartered Accountant (CA)/Company Secretary (CS)/MBA/Cost and Management Accountant/Masters in Commerce/Masters in Business Studies.

For the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), a bachelor’s degree (minimum 60% in Mathematics in 12th) is required from a recognized institute.

Age Limit: Age limit is different for each category and post. The age limit for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CGL is typically between 18 and 32 years old.
