The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced that the common recruiting process will be used to fill 6,035 vacant clerk positions in public sector banks participating in the competition. On or before the application deadline (which is July 21), candidates can submit their applications online through the IBPS official website (ibps.in).
Union Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, Central Bank of India, Punjab and Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra are some of the banks that are hiring through the IBPS recruitment exam.
Eligibility Criteria: Educational Requirements:
An applicant must complete a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field from a recognised university or any certification that is considered to be equal to this degree in order to be eligible for recruitment. The results of the candidate’s final exams for their degree must have been announced on or before the application deadline. In addition, operating and working expertise in computer systems is required.
Age Limit:
20 to 28 years old is the age range for IBPS clerk recruitment in 2022. To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must have been born between July 2, 1994, and July 1, 2002 (inclusive of both dates). The maximum age limit has been relaxed by up to 10 years for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
IBPS Recruitment 2022: Application Process
Step 1: First of all, visit the IBPS’s official website, i.e. ibps.in
Step 2: Next, on the home page, select the link that reads, “Click here to apply online for the common recruitment process for Clerks-XI (CRP-CLERKS-XI).”
Step 3: If you haven’t already, register on the IBPS portal.
Step 4: Then, log in to your account
Step 5: Next, fill in all details and upload copies of the necessary documentation.
Step 6: Pay the application fee
Step 7: And then submit the application
Step 8: Print a copy of the application and save the acknowledgement for further use or reference.
Application fees
Unreserved and OBC category candidates must pay Rs 850, while SC, ST, and disabled candidates must pay Rs 175.
Selection Method:
The selection will be based on a multistage recruitment procedure, which will include an online preliminary examination probably scheduled for September. Candidates who pass the preliminary examination will then take the main exam in October 2022. “Each candidate must get a minimum score on each exam of the Online Main Examination and a minimum total score in order to be considered for further consideration. “Cutoffs will be determined based on the number of State/UT-specific openings, and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment,” according to the website.
