IIM Mumbai Placements: 100% Success by 2025, Top Salary Rs 47.5 Lakh per Annum

198 companies participated in the placement drive, marking a 10 per cent increase in job offers compared to last year.

IIM Mumbai Placements: Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has achieved a 100 per cent placement rate for its 2025 batch. The top salary package reached Rs 47.5 lakh per annum (LPA), while the average salary of the top 20 per cent students stood at Rs 41.2 lakh per annum. 198 companies participated in the placement drive, marking a 10 per cent increase in job offers compared to last year.

The transformation from NITIE Mumbai to IIM Mumbai has strengthened the institute’s brand value, attracting top recruiters across industries including consulting, e-commerce and healthcare, a statement from IIM Mumbai said. Professor Manoj Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai, said, “The successful transition to IIM Mumbai, as well as our focus on future-ready skills, have contributed significantly to this achievement.

Our students have once again proven their mettle in a highly competitive job market.” This year’s IIM Mumbai placements season saw a 130 per cent rise in pharma and healthcare job offers, followed by retail and e-commerce sectors at 47.73 per cent. Consulting firms drove hiring with a 28.92 per cent growth. Top recruiters included Accenture (41 offers, average package Rs 45.37 per annum), PwC India (18 offers), PwC US Advisory (10 offers), as well as Alvarez & Marsal, OfBusiness, Praxis Global Alliance, Vodafone Idea, Workday and ZS.

The institute said the expansion of its curriculum in areas including digital transformation, artificial intelligence and data analytics has further strengthened its position as a leader in preparing students for the emerging business landscape.
