IIM Jammu Placements; Record 100% Placement, Highest Offer 64 Lakh

A total of 239 students appeared for the IIM Jammu placement process for job roles in domains such as Product Management, Marketing, Consulting, Finance and General Management.

IIM Jammu Placements: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu) concluded its campus placement for postgraduate students in Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with 100% placement for the 2021-23 batch. The highest domestic salary was recorded at Rs 64 lakh per annum.

A total of 239 students appeared for the IIM Jammu placement process for job roles in domains such as Product Management, Marketing, Consulting, Finance and General Management. The top 10 percentile of students received a CTC of Rs 32.4 lakh per annum, while the top quartile received Rs 24.5 lakh per annum.

IIM Jammu has an average salary of Rs 16.43 lakh and an average salary of Rs 15.25 lakh per annum. More than 135 companies participated in the campus placements this year. Participating companies include:

Microsoft, Mckinsey and Company, EXL, Brillio, Cognizant, Zycus, EY, KPMG, Amazon, Target, Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, State Street, ICICI Bank, SBI Capital Markets, Deloitte, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Maruti Suzuki, Amara Raja Group, CRISIL, Kantar, Affinity Global, JLL, Shobha Reality, Vedanta, Tata Power, AM/NS, Adani Group, Carlsberg, DS Group, Bombay Shaving Company, BenQ, Wildcraft among others.

Talking about the campus placements, BS Sahai, Director, IIM Jammu said: “100% placements as compared to last year indicate an optimistic placement scenario. Right from the beginning, IIM Jammu has focused on providing excellent value-based quality education , has set high standards for high-quality research, executive education, consultancy and strong corporate as well as international linkages.

Despite a significant increase in the batch size as compared to last year, we are proud to announce the resounding success of this year’s placement season.

 Talking about the success of the placement season, IIM Jammu Placement Chairperson and Professor Jabir Ali said: “This year saw a surge in offers of average, above average and highest packages. The success of the placement season is driven by the trust placed by the recruiters in IIMJ.
