UPSC Result Released: On Tuesday, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the result of Civil Services Examination-2023. 1016 candidates have been selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). 180 will become IAS and 200 IPS officers.
Aditya Srivastava of Lucknow has secured All India Rank 1. Whereas, Animesh Pradhan has got second rank and Ananya Reddy has got third rank. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
3 Candidates in Top 5 Ranks are Already IPS Officers:
This year, 3 candidates included in the top 5 ranks are already IPS officers. Rank 1 achievers Aditya Srivastava, Rank 4 PK Siddharth Ramkumar and Rank 5 Rohani are completing IPS training at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad.
This is the first time in the last 11 years that an IPS officer has secured All India Rank 1 in this examination while in service. Earlier in 2013, IPS officer Gaurav Aggarwal had achieved All India Rank 1 in Civil Services Examination.
