UP State Scholarship: The Social Welfare Department of the Uttar Pradesh government has launched scholarships for pre-matric and post-matric students for the academic year 2024-2025. Eligible students can apply online at scholarship.up.gov.in from July to December 31, 2024. The scholarship is available for fresh application and renewal, which provides financial assistance to eligible students.
Students from minority communities such as Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis have to apply through the Minority Welfare Department website. Additionally, students enrolled in Sanskrit schools in the state are eligible to apply for the UP State scholarship.
+ Students who received scholarship in the previous academic year can re-apply for 2024-2025 under the renewal option. Both new and renewal applicants need to register again using their login credentials.
UP State Scholarship Eligibility criteria:
+ The family income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh for general, OBC or minority students, while for SC and ST students it should be Rs 2.5 lakh.
+ The candidate must have passed the previous exam for which they enrolled.
+ Valid caste certificate from the competent authority and Aadhaar card is required.
Application Process:
1. Registration: Complete the online registration.
2. Aadhaar Authentication: Link Aadhaar details.
3. Form Submission: Submit the scholarship form.
4. Verification: The institute and district welfare committee will verify applications.
5. Disbursement: Funds will be released through Aadhaar-based authentication.

+ There are no application fees for this UP State scholarship.
