PM Modi’s Speech on Operation Sindoor

Recalling the horror of the massacre that took place at Pahalgam’s Baisaran ground on April 22, PM Modi said Operation Sindoor, carried out in retaliation, was an “expression of anger”.

“Today, I am witnessing the special significance of 15 August. I am proud that I had the opportunity to salute the brave soldiers of Operation Sindoor from the Red Fort today. Our brave soldiers gave a befitting reply to the enemies beyond their imagination.

Every Indian was enraged by the barbarity committed by terrorists in Pahalgam. Operation Sindoor is an expression of that anger,” PM said. The PM said Pakistan could not sleep even after Operation Sindoor, as the scale of destruction was huge.

He said, “We gave our armed forces a free hand, allowing them to strategise, set targets and decide the timing. Our forces set an example not seen in many decades. They penetrated hundreds of kilometres inside enemy territory and razed terrorist headquarters to the ground. Pakistan is still in shock; the scale of destruction was massive.”
