PM Internship Scheme: Application process begins; Steps to apply

As an intern, the candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 for the entire 12-month internship.

PM Internship Scheme: The Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme has begun its registration process for youth. The portal has opened at 5 pm for 1 crore youth. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements of a company can apply online through the official portal – pminternship.mca.gov.in – to avail the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme.

“The portal is open for PM Internship Scheme registration and profile creation of youth from 5 pm today. After registering and creating your profile, you will be notified about internship opportunities on your registered email/mobile number. Thereafter, the option to choose from the internship opportunities will be made available,” read on the official website.

PM Internship Scheme: Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants for the PM internship Scheme must have completed their high school education and hold a certificate from an ITI, a diploma from a polytechnic institute or a degree such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA or BPharma.

Candidates must be between 21 and 24 years of age at the time of the application deadline. To be eligible, candidates must be Indian and not working in a full-time job or attending school full-time. Applicants can apply if they are enrolled in online or distance learning courses.

PM Internship Scheme: How to apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website – pminternship.mca.gov.in.

Step 2: On homepage you will see the registration option. Click on the link, and a new page will be open.

Step 3: Fill the registration information and upload the necessary documents, then click the submit button.

There is no registration or application fee for PM Internship Scheme. Based on the details shared by the candidate, a resume will be automatically generated and the student will be able to apply for at least five opportunities based on their preferences.

Will students get a stipend?

As an intern, the candidate will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 for the entire 12-month internship. This stipend is funded by the company’s CSR, with Rs 500 coming from the company and Rs 4500 from the government.
