Pariksha Pe Charcha-2023: PM Modi Asks Students To Adopt Digital Fasting Once A Week

"I propose that we designate one room as a no-technology zone and that you refrain from using any electronic devices in that space," he advised.

Pariksha Pe Charcha-2023: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his advice to students during the sixth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha. He suggested that students observe “digital fasting,” which means reducing the amount of time spent in front of screens “once a week.” The Prime Minister believes that requiring pupils to go without their digital devices will “reconnect students with family members.”

“I propose that we designate one room as a no-technology zone and that you refrain from using any electronic devices in that space,” he advised.

In response to a question from a fellow student on how to maintain concentration on academic work without becoming sidetracked by social media, he said, “I believe students are smarter than smartphones to examine its correct usage.” We need to keep a close eye on how much we are using and make sure that we are using it wisely to meet our requirements.

Students were warned by the Prime Minister not to let themselves get dependent on their electronic devices. He advised, ” Tell yourself that you are an independent person make the most of technology, but limit yourself to that.”

Students came from all around the country to take part in the competition that was hosted at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
