NEET UG 2024 Paper Leak: NTA Again Denies Allegations Going on Social Media

In its latest statement, the NTA said it wanted to "set the record straight" against several social media posts, "in which the impression is being created that the question paper was leaked before the commencement of the examination".

NEET UG 2024 Paper Leak: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday once again denied allegations of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 paper leak, saying posts on social media claiming the NEET UG 2024 paper leak were “completely baseless and without Are of some basis.

In its latest statement, the NTA said it wanted to “set the record straight” against several social media posts, “in which the impression is being created that the question paper was leaked before the commencement of the examination”.

NTA’s security protocols and standard operating procedures have confirmed that the claims of paper leak on social media are baseless and have no evidence. Additionally, it has been clarified that all the question papers have been properly tracked to remove any further speculation.

NTA stressed that once the gates of the examination center are closed, no outsider is allowed to enter the hall, which is monitored by CCTV surveillance, their official statement said.

According to the NTA statement, a group of students in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur forcibly seized question papers from an examination center before the end of the exam. NTA has denied any connection between the picture of the question paper and the alleged paper leak incident and termed it as misleading and absurd. They emphasize that once the examination begins, there is no possibility for any outside person or organization to access the examination centres.

All other photographs of the QPs circulated on social media have no connection with the actual examination question paper administered,” it said.

However, the agency said, there have been cases of misconduct or impersonation where strict action has been taken against impersonators or candidates. “In addition to the above, NTA also conducts post-examination data analysis to detect cases of unfair means (UFM). Cases involving UFM are dealt with in accordance with existing rules, which may include disqualification of candidature and ban on taking future examinations.
