Madhya Pradesh is expanding medical and engineering education in Hindi. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had recently announced that Madhya Pradesh would be the first state in the country to remove the language barrier and offer undergraduate medical and engineering courses in Hindi.
The Chief Minister hopes that this decision will provide equal opportunities for education to students, even if they come from non-Hindi speaking backgrounds and lack expertise in the English language.
Addressing an event in Rewa and the ANI reported, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Chouhan said, “Our talented students do not get equal opportunities due to lack of expertise in the English language.”
Further, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan vowed that after agriculture, his government will make Madhya Pradesh the number one state of India in the businesses and industries as well.
“We have made Mukhyamantri Udyami Kranti Yojana, which is starting in April. Under this, every year at least one lakh sons and daughters will be given a loan of ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh to start their own businesses. Banks will give loans and the state government will take its guarantee,” he added.
