India celebrates Teacher’s Day 2022 today September 5.

Teachers play an important role in shaping our lives. They educate us and help shape our minds and personalities, but most of all they help us become a better human being.

India is celebrating Teacher’s Day today, 5th September. Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th of September every year in India to recognize and celebrate the work of teachers including researchers and professors. Teacher’s Day is the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Born on September 5, 1888, Dr. Radhakrishnan was the first Vice President of India and the second President of India.

Dr. Radhakrishnan is known for his remarkable work as a teacher, philosopher and scholar. Since 1962, 5th September has been celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India to honor Dr. Radhakrishnan’s remarkable approach towards education and students.

Teachers play an important role in shaping our lives. They educate us and help shape our minds and personalities, but most of all they help us become a better human being.

This day celebrates all the teachers in our lives who transformed us into better people, made an impact on our lives, and positively motivated us to do better. They could be your teachers at school, your elder siblings or even your parents.

As part of Teachers’ Day 2022, the President of India will present National Awards to teachers. The National Award to Teachers aims to celebrate the unparalleled contribution of some of the best teachers in the country and to honor teachers who through their commitment and industry have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their student.

Teacher’s Day plays a very important role in the life of every student as it is the day when they pay tribute to their teachers, mentors and guides in life. Educational institutions including schools and colleges celebrate this day with great enthusiasm and various extra-curricular activities are organised. Poetry, plays, speeches and other creative programs are organized in schools and colleges to thank the teachers.
