ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Voting Will Decide Whether the Hybrid Model will be Adopted or not, Know When and Where it will be Held

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: A decision on the future of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 to be played in Pakistan next year is expected on Tuesday. In fact, the BCCI has refused to send Team India to Pakistan. At the same time, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected BCCI’s demand for a hybrid model. Seeing no solution to the matter, the ICC has now decided to resolve the matter through voting. This meeting will be virtual on Tuesday.

13 members apart from India-Pakistan

Apart from India and Pakistan, 13 other members will vote in this virtual meeting. ICC has a total of 15 members. This includes 12 full members (Test playing countries) and three associate members. Voting will be done in favor and against the hybrid model.

BCCI has the upper hand:

According to sources, BCCI will have the upper hand in this meeting, as most countries are ready to vote in its favor. However, PCB is also aware of this, but despite this it is going to vote.

Jai Shah will meet ICC officials:

According to the report, BCCI Secretary Jai Shah will meet ICC officials in Dubai a day before the meeting. Actually, the IPL auction is to be held in Saudi Arabia on Sunday and Monday and during this time all the ICC officials will be present there.
