Haryana Chief Minister Says Skill Development will be made a compulsory subject for classes 9 to 12.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Sunday that skill development would be made a compulsory subject for the students of classes 9 to 12 so that the youth of the state could become self-reliant in all fields. The Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government was working tirelessly to provide quality and employable educational facilities to the students of the state. The Chief Minister’s statement came when he was addressing a program at the Haryana Board of School Education in Bhiwani.

Skill University is the need of the hour:

He said that Haryana Government has established the first such university in the state at Palwal, which is the need of skill universities in today’s era.

To make the students cultured and self-reliant:

He said that the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) will bring revolutionary changes.” In this policy, along with education and employment, the main goal is to make the students cultured and self-reliant so that they contribute significantly in making India one. Global leader again, Haryana CM further said in an official statement.

He said that to make education industry-oriented, emphasis is being laid on Artificial Intelligence along with technical education.

CM Khattar said, ‘The subject of skill development will be implemented compulsorily from class IX to XII, so that the youth of the state are self-reliant in every way.

Astronomy laboratories inaugurated:

The Chief Minister also inaugurated astronomy laboratories established in the premises of Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bhiwani.

After inaugurating the laboratories, Manohar Lal Khattar while interacting with the students said that PM Narendra Modi has laid emphasis on inculcating scientific temper in children.

“Generally children studying in government schools are confined to the general curriculum,” the state chief minister said.

He said that with the establishment of these laboratories, children from the poorest of the poor would be able to learn about the mysteries of the universe.
