Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday introduced 11 resolutions to build a “developed India”. In a two-hour speech in Parliament, PM Narendra Modi said that these resolutions are based on constitutional values. Here is the list of resolutions introduced by PM Modi:
1. Fulfillment of duties: Every citizen and the government must fulfill their duties responsibly to contribute to nation building.
2. Inclusive development: Ensuring development in every sector under the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
3. Zero tolerance towards corruption: Taking a tough stand against corruption at all levels.
4. Respect for the rule of law: Promote pride in following and upholding the laws and traditions of the country.
5. Freedom from slave mentality.
6. End of dynastic politics: Free Indian politics from dynasty politics.
7. Respect for the Constitution: Uphold the Constitution without exploiting it for political purposes.
8. Protection of reservation: Protect existing reservations by rejecting religion-based quotas.
9. Women-led development: Establishing India as a global leader in women-led development initiatives.
10. State-centric development (Development of the nation by development of the state): Linking the development of the nation with the progress of the states to achieve balanced development.
11. Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
Apart from this, PM Modi also strongly criticized the Congress and accused a single family within the party of weakening the Constitution. Speaking during a discussion on ’75 years of the glorious journey of the Indian Constitution’ in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi said, “One family of the Congress left no stone unturned in attacking the Constitution.”
