DU-Admissions 2022: Over 54,000 of the 72,800 students who accepted the college and course that Delhi University assigned them have finalised their admission by paying fees, according to an official. After the initial round of seat distribution, October 25 is the last day to pay the fees for admission to DU’s undergraduate programmes.

Out of 80,164 applicants, almost 72,800 have accepted the college and course that were assigned to them in the university’s initial round of seat distribution.

After their applications were accepted, 54,162 applicants had paid their fees as of Monday night, according to a university representative. Previously, October 24 was the last day to pay the admission fee online.

Candidates who do not pay the entrance fees by Tuesday will not be permitted to take part in any further Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) rounds, according to the institution.

It stated that the empty seats would be visible on Wednesday.

For the first time at DU-Admissions 2022, admissions to 79 undergraduate programmes spread over 67 colleges, departments, and centres are made based on the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

Prior to last year, admissions were made based on Class 12 mark-based merit lists, which saw rising cut-offs. Up to seven cut-off lists were previously made public by the institution each year.
