BJP’s Rekha Gupta Nominated as Next Chief Minister of Delhi, Swearing-in Tomorrow

The BJP has returned to power in Delhi after 27 years after winning a clear majority of 44 out of 70 seats in the assembly elections, results of which were declared on February 8.

Chief Minister of Delhi, New CM Name Announced Update: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Shalimar Bagh MLA Rekha Gupta has been appointed as the new CM of Delhi, BJP sources confirmed after the legislature party meeting on Wednesday.

The BJP has returned to power in Delhi after 27 years after winning a clear majority of 44 out of 70 seats in the assembly elections, results of which were declared on February 8. The swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister is scheduled to take place at Ramlila Maidan on February 20.
