Bank Holidays in January 2025: As we are starting the new year, it would be great to know when banks will be closed in January 2025. The first month of the year will have around 15 holidays, including the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays, which are weekly holidays. The new year will begin with a bank holiday in some regions on January 1.
While the RBI has not yet released the official list of holidays for this year, we have compiled a list of major holidays for January 2025 to help you plan your work and banking activities.
While banks will be closed on these holidays, don’t worry as your financial operations will not stop. You are still able to conduct daily transactions via internet banking or online banking and ATMs.
However, banking operations may be limited during these holidays, so it is a good idea to confirm the dates with your local bank branch to avoid any inconvenience.
