Latest Update: A minimum of 20 tourists lost their lives and 10 others sustained injuries in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, located in southern Kashmir, on Tuesday. According to police sources, the condition of at least two of the injured individuals is critical. The death number in this terrorist attack could be even higher. A terrorist attack took place in Baisaran of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, in which many tourists riding horses were injured. The terrorists targeted a group of tourists, in which 20 people were injured and four are in critical condition. One tourist has also died. Some horses were also injured in this attack due to bullet injuries.
Security forces have started a search operation to catch the terrorists. CRPF and Quick Reaction Team (QAT) were sent to the spot.
Actually, there are many such areas in Kashmir where terrorists hide and are not visible. Pahalgam is one of those places. Tourists reach here in large numbers. Especially when there is snowfall, hundreds of tourists come here.
