UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Live Updates: Exam Centre Guidelines, Reporting Time

Candidates are required to present their UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Admit Card, which can be accessed and downloaded from the official UPSC websites, upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that the preliminary examination for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) will take place on May 25, 2025. The first paper will begain at 9:30 am, followed by the second paper at 2:30 pm. Candidates are required to present their UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Admit Card, which can be accessed and downloaded from the official UPSC websites, upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. For this examination cycle, a total of 979 positions are open across various services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).

Additionally, 1,129 vacancies are estimated for 2024, which includes 180 IAS posts, 55 IFS posts and 147 IPS posts. Candidates whose photographs on the Examination Hall Ticket are not clear or lack required details are required to bring two passport size photographs clearly bearing their name and date along with a valid photo ID for each examination session.
