This year, on 13 May, the CBSE declared the class 12 annual exam result. The pass percentage for Class 12 was 87.98%. Some of the students didn’t pass the exam in a few subjects so for them the compartment exam was held from 15 July to 22 July. For those who did not gain a passing grade in one or more subjects, the CBSE organized compartment examinations.
These supplementary exams provided an extra opportunity for students to enhance their scores and satisfy the required criteria for passing. The compartment exams were scheduled from 15 July to 22 July 2024, allowing students a focused period to prepare and demonstrate their understanding of the subjects in which they had earlier underperformed.
This initiative is part of the CBSE’s efforts to ensure that every student has a fair chance to succeed and complete their academic requirements, thereby facilitating their progression to higher education or other future endeavors
