CAT 2022 Result Declared at iimcat.ac.in, Check Percentile

CAT 2022 Result: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has declared the CAT 2022 result on December 21, 2022. Candidates who have appeared for the Common Admission Test can check the result on the official site of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.

Engineers continue to dominate the list of toppers of the Common Admission Test (CAT), the route to Indian management institutes, shows the result of the 2022 edition of the entrance test.

There are four women candidates in the list of 55 toppers who scored 100 to 99.98 percentile. Last year there was a woman in this category. Also, 74.5 percent of the toppers are engineers.

The CAT 2022 exam was conducted on 27 November 2022 at various exam centers across the country. Candidates can now download their official CAT 2022 scorecard by logging in to the CAT 2022 official website.

The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIM. Each IIM will send interview letters directly to the shortlisted candidates. The criteria for shortlisting varies from IIM to IIM.

This year a total of 22 candidates have scored 99.99 percentiles in CAT result out of which 21 are male and 1 female.

100 + Non-IIM institutions will also use CAT 2022 scores this year for admission into their management programmes. The details of the Non-IIM institutions that are registered with CAT 2022 can be found at the CAT 2022 website.

Earlier on December 1, IIM Bangalore has released the CAT answer key and candidate’s response sheet. The candidates were asked to submit grievances against the tentative answer key till December 4.

The Institute also announced that two questions from the Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section from shift 2 and shift 3 of the CAT exam will not be considered for evaluation since both questions were ambiguous in nature. The CAT 2022 result is announced considering the revised answer key.
