NEET UG Entrance Exam: NTA Extends Registration Deadline till March 16, 2024

The last date to apply for NEET UG 2024 is March 16, giving candidates ample time to apply. Earlier, students had to submit their MBBS entrance exam application forms by March 9.

NEET UG Entrance Exam 2024:The National Testing Agency has extended the registration deadline for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) 2024. Candidates who have not yet submitted their form can fill the application for NEET on the official website – neet.ntaonline.in.

The last date to apply for NEET UG 2024 is March 16, giving candidates ample time to apply. Earlier, students had to submit their MBBS entrance exam application forms by March 9.

NEET UG Entrance Exam 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website-neet.ntaonline.in

Step 2: If you are a new student, apply through the ‘New Registration’ link, or login through the link.

Step 3: To begin the registration process, click on the “New Registration” button and fill the required information such as your name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email address.

Step 4: After completing the registration process, you can access your account by entering your unique application number along with your password.

Step 5: Fill the Application Form, Save, Submit and Pay Fees

Step 6: For future reference, it is recommended to download the application form.

Registration Fee:

For Indian candidates of general category, the registration fee is Rs 1,700. However, there are relaxations for reserved categories. General-EWS/OBC-NCL applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,600, while SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender applicants will have to pay Rs 1,000.

This time the rules for tying marks have been updated. While deciding who will get the highest grade among the candidates, age and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) application number are no longer taken into account. Preference is given according to marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. If necessary, the ratio of correct and incorrect answers is considered between subjects and specific courses.
