With only 2 days left for the exam, students should focus on their studies and stay calm while avoiding unnecessary stress.

CBSE Board Exams 2025: Tips to overcome exam stress and stay motivated: On February 15, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), will begin the 2025 board exams for classes 10 and 12. With only 2 days left for the exam, students should focus on their studies and stay calm while avoiding unnecessary stress.

It’s normal to feel anxious. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Anxiety comes from the pressure to do well, which can interfere with attention and memory during exams. If you use the proper techniques, you can control your exam anxiety and get your best results.

CBSE Board Exam 2025: 5 Tips to Overcome Exam Stress & Stay Motivated

1. Main Topics:

Focus on the main chapters of the syllabus and the topics that have been given more weightage. Spend the rest of your time focusing on these ideas, emphasizing on the parts that need more practice. Focus on revising frequently asked questions and key concepts instead of memorizing.

2. Revision:

Avoid starting completely new topics at this time unless absolutely necessary. Instead, revise what you have learnt earlier. For important formulas, definitions and points, make short summaries, notes or flashcards. In the days leading up to the exam, these can be used as efficient revision tools.

3. Sleep Well And Eat Well:

Resist the urge to stay up late studying as exams approach. Sleeping 6 to 7 hours a night is essential for maintaining concentration and memory. Eat nutritious foods that boost brain function, such as fruits, vegetables and nuts. Avoid caffeine and drink plenty of water as it can make you more anxious.

4. Stay Positive:

Everyone learns differently and at their own pace, so don’t compare yourself to your peers. Trust your preparation and focus on your progress. Remind yourself that you are set to do well because you have worked hard.

5. Reduce Stress:

Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a few seconds and then slowly exhale through your mouth. To feel more comfortable, repeat for one to two minutes. Visualise yourself sitting confidently in the exam room and answering the questions with ease. This can boost your confidence. Remember, it’s normal to feel a little anxious – it shows that you care about the result. However, it’s important not to let it overwhelm you.
