CAT 2024 Registration Begins, Apply Before September 13 at iimcat.ac.in

To apply for Common Admission Test 2024, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST candidates and persons with disabilities).

CAT 2024 Registration: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta opened the application window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 August 1, on its official website. Interested candidates have the opportunity to enroll before September 13 on the official website iimcat.ac.in.

To apply for Common Admission Test 2024, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST candidates and persons with disabilities).

Those appearing in the final year of undergraduate degree/equivalent qualifying examination or who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting the result can also apply for the examination.

Common Admission Test 2024: Application Fee

For CAT 2024, candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,500. ST, SC and PWD category applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,250.

Common Admission Test 2024: Steps to Register:

Interested applicants are requested to ensure that the mobile number and email ID used for CAT 2024 application remains active during the entire admission process, as Intuition will communicate with the candidates with the same contact details.

Step 1 – Visit the official website- iimcat.ac.in

Step 2 – Click on “Registration of New Candidates” option on the homepage

Step 3 – Register for CAT 2024 by filling the required information in the specified fields -Candidate Name, Contact number, Email, Date of Birth and County.

Step 4 – Verify by filling the OTP and re-verify the details later.

Step 5 – The candidate will receive his/her login details on the email ID. 

Step 6 – Save login details.

Common Admission Test Highlights:

1. CAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held in 170 cities across the country, the total duration of which is 120 minutes.

2. The exam is divided into four sections, candidates have 40 minutes to complete each section.

3. It is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to switch between sections during the examination.
