The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) administers the ATMA, a national entrance exam, to applicants who wish to enrol in MBA or PGDM programmes provided by participating Business Schools. It is a centralised examination that may be taken to allow admission into a variety of post-graduate programmes such as MBA, PGDM, MMS, and others. The examination is scheduled four to five times every year. ATMA results are accepted for entry into more than 500 different colleges across India.
There was a moment when approximately 20,000 people submitted applications to ATMA. The level of difficulty of this exam is on par with that of exams such as the CMAT and MAT and is far easier than that of the CAT and XAT.
