UGC NET December 2024 Result: Check Scorecard Link, Final Answer Key at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

UGC NET December 2024 Session: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key and result for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 exam on February 22. Candidates who appeared for the national level exam can check the final answer key and result from the official website of University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test NET- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET December 2024 was conducted for 8,49,166 candidates at 558 exam centres in 266 cities in 16 shifts over nine days between January 3 and January 27. The mode of the exam was Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Out of the 8,49,166 candidates who registered for the exam, 6,49,490 candidates appeared. Only 5,158 candidates were found eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship, while 48,161 candidates were found eligible for admission to Assistant Professorship and PhD and 1,14,445 for PhD only. Each question in the exam was of two marks.

Candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer and no marks will be deducted for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The record of UGC NET December 2024 will be preserved for 90 days from the date of declaration of UGC NET December 2024 result. The NET result will not be subjected to any re-evaluation or re-checking. The December 2024 result will be compiled on the basis of the final answer key declared.
