NTA-NEET Clarifies the Format of the Question Paper for NEET UG 2023.

NTA-NEET: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified the question paper’s medium in a statement. On the NEET UG website, neet.nta.nic.in, you can see the official announcement.

The NTA-NEET has made it clear that candidates who choose English will receive their exam booklet in only English, while those who choose Hindi will receive a bilingual test booklet in both English and Hindi. Candidates who choose regional languages will receive a bilingual test booklet in their choice of regional language and English in a similar manner.

It has also been made clear that only certain exam centres would offer the regional languages. Punjabi, for example, will be accepted at exam locations in Punjab, Chandigarh, and Delhi/New Delhi (including Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Meerut, and Noida/Greater Noida), whereas Assamese would only be available there.

Applicants should be aware that only exam centres in India will offer Hindi and Urdu, whereas English will be offered at all NEET UG 2023 test locations.

West Bengal, Tripura, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands all speak Bengali. Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli all speak Gujarati. Only Karnataka exam centres offer Kannada, Marathi is only offered in Maharashtra, and Odia is only offered in Odisha.

Telugu is spoken in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Tamil is spoken in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, while Malayalam is spoken in Kerala and Lakshadweep.
