JEE Main Paper 1 Exam Analysis: Initial Feedback Received From Experts and Students Suggests that Shift 1 was of Moderate Difficulty

JEE Main Paper 1 Exam Analysis 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the first session of the JEE Main 2025 exam on January 22. This session focused on Paper 1 for engineering (BE/BTech) programmes. The exam duration was three hours, which began at 9 am and ended at 12 noon.

Early student feedback suggests that the difficulty level of Joint Entrance Examination Main Paper 1 Exam was moderate to challenging. Most of the questions came from the Class 12 syllabus. The National Testing Agency has completed the first day of the first shift of the JEE Main 2025 January session examination.

Maths: Students found the Mathematics section challenging, and it took them longer than expected to complete it.

Chemistry: The Chemistry section contained the largest percentage of questions pertaining to organic and physical chemistry.

Physics: The Physics section showed an equal distribution of questions from both Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus, with a notable emphasis on conceptual questions.
