JEE Main 2025 Exam Analysis: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) B.Tech, BE paper held on the first day of the April 2025 session consisted of Maths, Physics and Chemistry papers of 300 marks. According to experts in the field, the JEE Main question paper covered almost all chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE board. Candidates who appeared for the BE, BTech paper of JEE Main Shift 1 exam found the paper to be “balanced but lengthy”.
The JEE Main Day 1 exam was conducted in two shifts: from 9 am to 12 noon and between 3 pm to 6 pm. The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam which began on April 2 will continue till April 9. All subjects have two sections – 1 and 2. Section 1 contains 20 multiple-choice questions with one correct answer, Section 2 contains five numerical-based questions.
According to experts and experts from leading JEE coaching institutes, Physics was moderately difficult, Mathematics was moderate and lengthy, and Chemistry was easy in the Shift 1 exam on April 2. Experts and students said, “Overall, the paper was of moderate level as per the students.”
