Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) is set to conduct the JEE-Advanced 2025 exam and has unveiled the official website jeeadv.ac.in. This website is unchanged from last year, retaining the same URL, jeeadv.ac.in. Also, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has published the eligibility criteria and syllabus for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced in PDF format.
+ Syllabus & Eligibility: The syllabus for JEE-Advanced 2025 remains the same as the previous year.
+ New Change in Attempt Limit: Candidates can now attempt JEE Advanced three times over three consecutive years, up from the previous limit of two attempts.
Exam Date & Application:
+ The JEE Advanced 2025 examination is expected to be held in May 2025.
+ The application form will be available from April 2025.
+ Must qualify JEE Main 2025 and rank among the top 2.5 lakh candidates to apply for JEE Advanced 2025.
+ Should have completed Class 12 in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
Eligibility for Foreign Candidates:
+ Foreign nationals can directly register for JEE Advanced without the need to qualify JEE Main.
+Must have passed their equivalent of Class 12 in 2024 or 2025.
JEE Advanced Exam Structure:
+ JEE Advanced includes two papers, each with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections.
+ Both papers are mandatory for eligibility for Indian Institute of Technology IIT admissions.
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format across India and internationally.
