Jamia Millia Islamia Admission 2025-26: Application Process, CUET Scores, Entrance Exam Dates and More

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has released the university prospectus and announced the commencement of admissions for the academic session 2025-26. From this academic year, Jamia Millia Islamia has introduced 14 new courses. Interested candidates can access and download the prospectus available at admission.jmi.ac.in and register for the programmes.

Jamia Millia Islamia Admission 2025-26 details including eligibility criteria, application deadlines, entrance exam dates, course fees and duration are available on the JMI 2025-26 prospectus.

Admissions to 25 programmes – 9 Undergraduate (UG), 5 Post Graduate (PG), 8 Diploma programmes and three advanced diploma programmes will be done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) merit score. Releasing the prospectus, JMI authorities said this is a significant increase compared to the previous academic session, which had 20 programmes under the CUET admission process.

In an effort to attract more international students and children of non-resident Indians (NRIs), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has implemented a fee reduction for applicants from SAARC countries. Additionally, the institute has reduced fees for foreign nationals and NRI children enrolling in diploma courses offered by the University Polytechnic.

Two seats in the BDS programme, which admits students through NEET UG, have been allotted for international students. Foreign applicants seeking admission to PhD programmes at JMI are now allowed to attend admission interviews online, as they often face challenges in obtaining visas and travelling to India for interviews, which are an essential part of the admission process.
