Indian Institute of Technology Madras Announces Admissions for Second Batch of BTech in AI Programme

With an aim to make students global leaders in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics is designed to equip them with key skills and knowledge.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will admit students to the second batch of BTech in AI programme for the upcoming academic year 2025-26. With an aim to make students global leaders in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics is designed to equip them with key skills and knowledge.

The undergraduate (UG) programme focuses on both the fundamentals of AI and how to build applications. It also offers a strong industry connection through its internships and UG research opportunities, according to a statement from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

“Students will get career opportunities in diverse fields ranging from fundamental research in global tech companies to applied areas such as manufacturing and healthcare,” said a statement from the institute, ranked #1 NIRF in the country and 227 in Asia ranked by QS World University Ranking 2024.
