The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) today announced the launch of its new two-year online MBA program in blended mode for working professionals and entrepreneurs.
According to IIM Ahmedabad, the online MBA program in hybrid mode combines on-campus, in-person sessions and live interactive online sessions. This program is for a group of experienced participants with a minimum of three years of experience. It will be delivered primarily in an online synchronous mode, complemented through five different on-campus modules.
In line with IIM Ahmedabad pedagogy, the program will primarily follow a case-based approach that focuses on practical learning to ensure that participants acquire the knowledge and skills required for success in today’s dynamic business environment.
Announcing the launch of the programme, Professor Bharat Bhaskar, Director, IIMA, said, “We are excited to launch the online MBA programme, which expands the reach of IIMA and provides world-class education to working professionals and entrepreneurs across the globe. This innovative program combines the flexibility of online learning with the richness of on-campus interactions, ensuring participants acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their chosen careers.
Working professionals and entrepreneurs with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent can apply for the program. Candidates will be admitted to the IIM Ahmedabad Online MBA program on the basis of scores obtained in IIMA Entrance Test (IAT) or CAT or GMAT or GRE and a personal interview.
