FMS BHU Placement: 181 Offers to 165 Management Students, Highest Salary Package Rs 23.5 lakh

FMS BHU Placements 2024: 165 students of Institute of Management Studies (BHU) received a total of 181 offers. The average package is Rs 11.1 lakh, with top offers reaching Rs 23.5 lakh annually.

Dr Ashutosh Mohan, Placement Coordinator, Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, announced that students from MBA, MBA International Business and MBA Agribusiness programs have secured placements out of a total of 181 with an impressive average package of Rs 11.1 lakh. Proposals were received from 165 students.”  The students are setting a new benchmark for the coming year.”

More than 65 companies including Infosys, Genpact, Cognizant, Mahindra Finance, Adani Wilmar, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Reliance Retail, Federal Bank, IDBI Bank, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Digit General Insurance, Visa Steel, Bajaj Asset Management, UNIQLO, Amul, and Escorts Kubota were involved in the recruitment.

Professor HP Mathur, Chairman and Dean and Head of Corporate Affairs and Placement at FMS-BHU expressed his gratitude for the strong faith of the recruiters. The institute is conducting several initiatives including personality development programmes, corporate engagements, summer training, simulated aptitude tests, group discussions and personal mock interviews in the university to enhance the employability of the students and prepare them for rewarding careers. Career, an official statement said.

About 36 per cent of the students were offered executive and management trainee roles with various sub-profiles including MT – Sales & Marketing, MT – Finance, MT – Business Excellence, MT – Strategy & Projects, MT – Alliances & Electronic Payments and MT – retail operations.

About 21 percent of students achieved associate, senior consultant roles, followed by 13 percent who achieved assistant and deputy manager roles.

A large number of roles in the consulting and analytics sector were offered by IT organizations like Cognizant, Infosys, Genpact, Wear Analytics, Hexaware Technologies, Acxiom Consulting, MRCC Group and Loyalty Juggernaut. Companies like South Indian Bank, Bandhan Bank, Jana Bank, SBI Life, ICICI Pru AMC and UTI Mutual Fund offer attractive positions to students in domains like marketing, finance, operations and HR in the BFSI sector.

In the Agribusiness sector, DCM Shriram Farm Solutions recruited many MBA (Agribusiness) students, with many students also receiving pre-placement offers.
