BITS Pilani launched the BITS Law School in Greater Mumbai on Thursday. The BITS Law School will offer two five-year integrated degree programmes, BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). First academic year to start from 1st August with admission starting from March 2023
Law students will gain access and benefit from a BITS Pilani Alumni network of over 1,70,000 spread across 55 countries. BITS Law School will seek intellectual guidance from stalwarts of the legal fraternity, higher education, business and policy making.
A residential campus of Law School is being developed on 63 acres in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the institute said in a statement.
According to the release, the scholarship will be offered to meritorious students to enable access and preserve diversity. Specializations offered include Technology and Media Law, Entertainment and Sports Law, Corporate and Financial Law; and alternative dispute resolution and mediation.
The Law School will offer flexible and interdisciplinary curriculum, with a strong digital underpinning across programs, with an emphasis on empathy and creativity in learning, with a focus on legal writing and scholarly research.
