Indian Institute of Technology, Indore (IIT-Indore) has announced the launch of two new academic schools in partnership with Bhupat and Jyoti Mehta Family Foundation (MFF). The two newly launched academic institutions are: Mehta Family School of Sustainability and Mehta Family School of Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering.
The two flagship programmes to be launched at the undergraduate level include BTech programmes focused on medical devices, clinical data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare applications. The other is a BTech programme in Environmental Economics with Sustainable Engineering. IIT-Indore will also launch postgraduate and PhD programmes.
The announcement comes at a time when over 12.3 lakh candidates appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, which is the entry point into engineering programmes at institutes like IIT Indore.
