NEET PG counselling 2022 Rescheduled, date not yet decided

It further read that the tentative schedule of NEET-PG counselling is being rescheduled and the candidates should keep checking the MCC website for any latest information.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET PG counselling 2022 has been rescheduled as per the new notice released by the National Medical Commission today. The official MCC website released the notice- mcc.nic.in

As per the notice, the National Medical Commission (NMC) is in the process of releasing new LOPs for the current academic year. It will expire by September 15. “In order to include more seats in the counseling for the benefit of the candidates, it has been decided by the competent authority to reschedule the NEET-PG Counselling, 2022, which was scheduled to commence from 1st September.”

It further read that the tentative schedule of NEET-PG counselling is being rescheduled and the candidates should keep checking the MCC website for any latest information. 

MCC will conduct the NEET PG 2022 counselling process for admission to 50 per cent all India quota (AIQ) seats, 100 per cent deemed, central universities, and AFMS (MD/ MS/ Diploma/ PG DNB) seats.

The MCC NEET PG counselling was to be held for four rounds Round-1, Round 2, a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round for AIQ, Central University seats and AFMS, DNB PG seats.

Online registration is mandatory to become eligible for seat allotment. MCC will release seat allotment result based on choice filled, availability of seats in particular institute, reservation criteria and other factors. Seat allotment result will be released separately for every round.

NEET PG Counselling 2022: Steps to Check Official Notification

  • Visit the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee at mcc.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, Click on the PG Medical Counselling section.
  • Click on the link that reads, “NOTICE FOR RESCHEDULING IN PG COUNSELLING.”
  • The PDF will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates are advised to go through the notice and save it for future reference.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court said that it would not interfere and stall the NEET-PG counselling process. It said that it cannot put students’ lives in jeopardy.
