National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences has invited applications for admission to various programs.

Last date to apply is May 10, 2022. Applicants are eligible to apply for maximum of three courses only. The options may be indicated in the application form.

National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Institute of National Importance, Bengaluru,  has invited applications for admission to various programs for the session 1 of the academic year 2022-23.

Programs include Ph.D, Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF), MD, M.Phil, Fellowship, Master’s Program and Post Graduate Diploma.

Last date to apply is May 10, 2022. Applicants are eligible to apply for maximum of three courses only. The options may be indicated in the application form.

PhD Program is available in Biophysics, Biostatistics, Clinical Neurosciences (Funded by ICMR), Clinical Psychology, Clinical Psychopharmacology and Toxicology, Human Genetics, Mental Health Education, Neurochemistry, Neuroimaging and Interventional Radiology, Neurology, Neurological Rehabilitation, Neuromicrobiology, Neuropathology, Neurophysiology, Neurovirology, Nursing, Psychiatric Social Work, Psychiatry, History of Psychiatry, Mental Health Rehabilitation, Speech Pathology & Audiology, Integrative Medicine, Psychosocial Support in Disaster Management.

Indian National Applicants belonging to General and OBC applicants and Foreign National Applicants. Rs. 1500/- per course
Indian National Applicants belonging to SC or ST CategoryRs. 1000/- per course
Indian National Applicants belonging to PWD category (40%-70% disability) No Application Fee

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences is a medical institution in Bangalore, India. NIMHANS is the apex centre for mental health and neuroscience education in the country. It is an Institute of National Importance operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
