CUET UG 2022: JNU ( Jawaharlal Nehru University ) plans to launch the JNU admission portal for CUET undergraduate admission in 2022, on Monday, 27th September.
Based on the scores of the students the University takes admission to the various programs. “JNU is planning to launch the JNU portal for UG admissions by tomorrow, 27th September 2022,” the official told PTI.
The news comes days after the National Testing Agency released the results of the first edition of the CUET for undergraduate admissions (NTA).
As soon as the results were announced, Jagdish Singh, the JNU deputy registrar for admission, published a notification claiming that the admission branch was processing the data and candidate information given by the NTA and that a portal will soon open on its website.
“Consequent upon the declaration of CUET UG 2022 by NTA, the admission branch is processing data, details of candidates provided by the NTA and shall open the portal shortly on JNU website for candidates seeking admission in JNU to fill application form by paying the processing fee,” the notice dated September 16 read.
Around 10 UG and 34 PG courses at the universities are offered. The university is providing 1025 PG seats and 342 UG seats across its many schools and departments.
Since 2019, JNU has begun offering admissions using the computer-based (CBT) JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE) at various locations around the nation in partnership with NTA.
