JEE Advanced 2025 Updates: Expected Result Date and Cut-Offs

As per this year's report, a total of 1,87,223 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced 2025, including 1,43,810 boys and 43,413 girls.

JEE Advanced 2025 Updates: The JEE Advanced 2025 result is likely to be declared on June 2. Apart from the result, the organising institute, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), will also release the JEE Advanced 2025 cut-off for admission to IITs. In 2024, the JEE Advanced cut-off marks saw a significant increase across all categories compared to the previous year.

As per this year’s report, a total of 1,87,223 candidates appeared for JEE Advanced 2025, including 1,43,810 boys and 43,413 girls. As per the analysis of JEE Advanced provided by experts and candidates, Mathematics proved to be the toughest subject this year, while Chemistry and Physics followed a comparable trend. In 2024, the cut-off scores for JEE Advanced increased across all categories compared to the previous year, with the expect of the General-PWD category.

JEE Advanced 2025 Updates: Expected Cut-Off

Founders and CEOs of various coaching institutes said, “The expected cut-off for JEE Advanced 2025 shows a slight drop in most categories compared to last year. Similar trends are visible in the EWS and OBC categories as well, with both expected cut-offs hovering around 92-95, slightly lower than 2024 levels. Notably, the SC and ST categories also see a steady but slight drop, with expected cut-offs ranging between 49-52. This indicates a more competitive environment and potentially tougher exam difficulty in 2025.”
