JEE-Advanced 2023: JoSAA Registration Process Started, Check Seat Matrix for IIT Admission

This year, there are a total of 17485 seats in all the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), including an additional 1692 seats for women candidates.

JEE-Advanced 2023: The admission process for premier institutes of technology across India has begun from yesterday 20th June. After the declaration of JEE-Advanced 2023 result on Sunday, the registration process of Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) started. A total of 43773 candidates out of 180372 have qualified the entrance exam and are now eligible for admission to various undergraduate programs in IITs across India. Among the qualified candidates, 7509 are girls.

This year, there are a total of 17485 seats in all the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), including an additional 1692 seats for women candidates. There was a slight increase in the number of seats as compared to the previous year which was a total of 16598 seats which included 1567 girls majority seats.

Qualified Candidates can follow these steps to register for JoSAA Counselling 2023:

Step 1: Visit the official website-josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Registration and choice filling for JoSAA Counselling 2023’.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Enter the credentials and click on the submit option.

Step 5: Now register for JoSAA Counselling and fill in your preferred choices.
