Indira Gandhi National Open University has Started its Admission Process for the July 2024 Academic Session

IGNOU Admission 2024: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the new admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate and other programs for the academic year on July 24. To submit their applications, individuals who are interested and meet the requirements can utilize the official websites: ignouiop.samarth.edu.in and ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The last date to apply for various programs in IGNOU is 30th June. The university offers a range of educational qualifications including certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas and degrees.

Earlier, the last date for submission of IGNOU registration was extended till May 15.

IGNOU Admission 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU-ignouiop.samarth.edu.in or ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on New Registration and create your account.

Step 3: Enter your required credentials

Step 4: Fill the application form. Save, submit and pay the fee.

Step 5: Download and save the filled application.

IGNOU is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma, Certificate and awareness programs through ODL and online mode. IGNOU ODL courses are available to students in certificate, diploma and degree formats at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The open and distance learning mode of the university includes a large range of courses related to arts, commerce, management, science, social sciences, languages, fashion, tourism, information technology and many other fields.

Eligibility criteria

Students who want to take admission in UG course must have 10+2 with minimum 50 percent marks from any recognized educational board. If a student wants to do PG course from Indira Gandhi National Open University, he/she must have a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 percent marks in the relevant stream from any recognized university.

For enrollment in any undergraduate course, candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 300. Payment can be made by the applicants through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. The academic fees for PG course starts from Rs 8,400 to Rs 45,000.
